Director Yeon Sang-ho’s new film Face has been pre-sold to 157 countries worldwide.

Starring Kwon Hae-hyo and Park Jung-min, the film has been invited to the Special Presentations section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, where it will hold its world premiere on September 9.

Following Yeon’s global hits Train to Busan and Peninsula, Face marks his return to theaters and will be released domestically on September 11, before rolling out globally.

Distribution covers North and South America, France, Russia, and other European regions, as well as Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and across Asia.

North American distributor Well Go stated, “Yeon Sang-ho is one of the most exciting filmmakers working today,” expressing strong anticipation for the release.
